Assistance with all aspects of the total project--I need help!
Overall Team Leaders for each of the Hazards:
This task is the overall management of the specific hazard below and includes:
Managing a volunteer group
Performing the hazard research
Developing recommendations
Communicating those recommendations to the correct agencies
-Slippery Highways
-Excessive Deer Population
-Truck Tire Carcasses
-Road repaving edge breaks and road texture during scraping
-Motorcycle unsafe cable highway dividers
-Unsafe sewer covers
-Unsecured load on trucks and cars
-Unsafe railroad crossings
-Slippery toll gates
-Pavement color
In addition to team leaders, volunteers are needed to assist in each of the above tasks.
Volunteer Recruiters
-Solicit volunteers
-Work with team leaders to assist in task assignments
Web Master
-Upgrade my crude web site

-Pictures of Hazards
-Web sight updating Research:
-Obtaining Insurance company data
-Perform highway surface coefficient of friction measurements Knowledge of:
-Highway construction techniques
-Insurance industry
-Physics
Measurement of Coefficient of Friction
-Trucking industry relative to tires
-Tire recap characteristics
-Automatic Tire air pressure sensors.
-Non-skid surface materials Deer Overpopulation
-State departments that control
-Successful reduction techniques Legal
-Methodology to cause legal change
-Understand highway construction existing rules Public relations:
Publicize our causes
Generate articles for:
-Newspapers
-Magazines
Motorcycle Rally seminars
Assist in acquiring more volunteers Governmental interfaces
National (NHTSA, etc.)
State
each state will require a people to:
-Determine who is the best Gov dept/person to interface with
-Present our research and recommendations
Most tasks will require at least 2 individuals in each state. One for deer and and one for highway hazards.
